For 60 years, we have been encouraging curiosity & discovery through play-based learning. We welcome children between 3-5 years of age. Our Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten programs have been thoughtfully constructed to help young children develop the attributes of a life-long and self-motivated learner.

We offer a variety of experiences, and encourage children to build upon their knowledge, widen their experiences, refine their skills, try different alternatives and practice problem solving, within a calm and safe environment.

Free Kindy

Kindy is free for all Queensland Families!

Kindergarten is a part-time educational program for children in the year before Prep. Kindy is 15 hours per week, 40 weeks per year and is free for Queensland children attending a government-approved kindergarten program. Our program at Vera Lacaze is approved for Free Kindy.
